Burning Bridges
Fiery paths set ablaze
Tension filled embers engulfed brightly glazed
Unforgiveness, anger, jealousy and rage,
Pride and egos take center stage
Scandalous behavior sizzles while it’s covered and hot!
Planning and prepping one mischievous plot
Backstabbing, back tracking, fence straddling not to get caught
Exposed it reveals scorched and blistered dry rot
Withered and destroyed, hearts and minds are distraught
Tempers flared, word war declared foul language slingshots
Slung and thrown, the bridge is now burned a real life lesson taught.
Pay Attention and learn which bridges to keep, which to burn….
